After its triumphant, smooth-sailing dates in Telluride on Aug. 9 and 10, jam band Phish will return to Colorado in the fall.
Internet message boards have been busy with rumors of the band’s quick return to the Rockies. Sure enough, Phish is scheduled to play three shows at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield on Oct. 10-12, a source told The Denver Post.
The metro area stop is for AEG Live Rocky Mountains, part owner of the 1stBank Center and the promoter who went out of its way to make Phish’s shows in southwestern Colorado a reality earlier this month.
Phish has never played the 1stBank Center, which was previously known as the Broomfield Event Center before it was purchased by Peak Entertainment — a partnership between AEG’s local offices and Kroenke Sports Enterprises.
The band’s October dates in Colorado will be a part of its fall tour, which should be officially announced in the next week or two. Ricardo Baca
