West coast fans experienced a special treat at the Belly Up in Aspen on Sunday night, when Victor Wooten of the Flecktones, accompanied the Mike Gordon Band on stage. The bass players joined forces to play Phish original Meat, a cover of Little Feat’s Salin’ Shoes, and Crumblin’ Bones written by Tom Cleary.’ You can find the complete set list, that included the debut of Flashback off of the Moss album here.
Last night, at Mike’s show in Denver at The Ogden Theatre, his band was joined on stage by four of the five members of Dumpstaphunk for the last three songs of the first set. Returning after the second set, for a double encore, Tony Hall (bass), Ian Neville (guitar), Ivan Neville (keys) and Raymond Weber (drums) covered Max Creek’s Jones and C&C Music Factory’s Things That Make You Go Hmm with the band.
