Online Phish Tour was started in late 2009 to provide thorough, critical, and knowledgeable reviews of Phish concerts. It eventually evolved into more than that; now OPT provides fans with downloads, reviews of past shows, nerdy opinion pieces, and more.
OPT has four different (regular) writers: OPT, Guy Forget, Padraic S., Eli, and Zim. OPT, who owns and manages the site, was the only writer until September 2010. When he put out the word that he was looking for a new writer, Guy Forget responded (along with about 20 others). Because of his quality writing, knowledge of music, and humor, he was chosen to cover the daily news happenings and post his own opinion pieces.
When Chris came along to build our second site, we quickly grew faster. The demand for more frequent content with new perspectives was apparent. Zim was added and started the column Thoughts Out on The Page.
Stop by every Monday for the weekly Monday Morning Video Pick Me Up, where we will post videos of Phish to entertain you throughout your first day back at work after the weekend. Swing by Tuesday’s for the opinion column, The Relentless Communicator, and Thursdays for Thoughts Out On the Page. Nearly every Wednesday come for the reoccurring battle known as Tales of Mental Tangle. ToMT will pit two different Phishy topics against each other for a point/counterpoint debate, sometimes with exciting guest writers. Stop by every Friday for the weekly installment of A Show for Your Weekend.
